Of course! We love our customers to see the Barking Bubbles salon, we take great pride in our lovely setup. 

We recommend bringing your puppy to the groomers as soon as they’re able to go outside (after their second vaccinations). This helps ease them into the grooming world slowly, before they need a full groom. 

We can complete a puppy groom on their first visit; which is a bath, blow dry, face, feet, hygiene and nail trim, ear clean and spritz. 

We recommend doing this prior to their first full groom – a full groom can be quite a daunting experience for a young dog, it takes longer than a puppy groom, requires length taking off all over (using clippers, which at first pups can find scary) and if you wait until they need a full groom, their coat will be longer – taking longer to dry – and they won’t be as young and as confident to new experiences. 

Once your puppy is eased into grooming and finds it an stress-free, enjoyable experience then they’re set up for life! 

As a new business I am flexible around my clients schedules. If there’s a day or time that suits you best, I will ensure I am available – as long as there’s not another client in at that time.

Typically dogs behave better when their owners aren’t present. This is because they’ll spend their groom wanting to get to you, making them fidget and stressed. Not only this, but it is important for your dog to build a trusting bond with their groomer, they can’t do this when all they want is to get to you. Because of this, we don’t allow pet parents to stay. 

I have a level 3 diploma in dog grooming, alongside a level 3 animal first AID qualification – plus a level 2 animal care certificate. I am also trained in human first AID. As well as this, I have being grooming since 2018 – therefore I have a lot of experience in the industry. 

We do accept card – however – cash is preferred. This is due to the high cost of running a card machine.

We understand not everyone carries cash anymore – hence our card machine alternative. But, if you can, please do use cash when paying small businesses – it really makes a difference.
